Dr. Joel Burvant is a third-generation dentist, born and raised in Covington. He completed his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences at Louisiana State University before obtaining his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at The LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. His father, Dr. Ed Burvant, Jr., practiced dentistry in Covington for 50 years before retiring in 2021. Dr. Joel followed in his footsteps and took over the practice in 2011. 

Dr. Joel and his wife of twenty years, Myrie, live here in Covington with their son, Beck. He is a proud alumnus of St. Peter Catholic School and St. Paul's Catholic School. As a lifelong resident, he is committed to providing his community with the best possible dental care and is devoted to treating patients as family.
